Online Psychotherapy in London
Specialist support for grief, trauma, bereavement and infant loss — from wherever you are in London.
Why Londoners Are Choosing Online Psychotherapy
Finding affordable, high-quality psychotherapy in London is no easy task. In areas like Kensington, Islington, Hampstead and Chelsea, in-person therapy regularly costs between £120 and £200 per session. Online psychotherapy offers the same depth of care — without the commute and without the London price tag.
I offer online psychodynamic psychotherapy to adults across London, working with grief, bereavement, trauma, miscarriage, infant loss, and difficult emotional experiences that are hard to put into words. Sessions take place over Zoom, in a secure, private space — from your home, your office, or wherever feels right.
Online Psychotherapy for Adults in London
Living in London can be exhilarating, but it can also be emotionally demanding. The pace of the city, long commutes, demanding careers, financial pressures, relationship difficulties and the experience of living among millions of people can leave many feeling unexpectedly isolated. It is not uncommon to be surrounded by others while feeling profoundly alone.
As a UK-registered psychodynamic psychotherapist, I provide online psychotherapy for adults across London, allowing you to access therapy from your own home, office or another confidential space without the time and stress of travelling across the city.
Therapy That Fits Around Life in London
Whether you live in Central London, North London, South London, East London or West London, online therapy offers flexibility without compromising the depth of the therapeutic relationship.
Many of the people I work with are balancing demanding professional lives alongside personal struggles. They may appear to be coping well externally while privately experiencing anxiety, grief, depression, burnout or longstanding emotional difficulties.
Psychodynamic psychotherapy offers a space to think more deeply about these experiences, exploring not only what is happening now but also how earlier relationships and life experiences may continue to shape the present.
Areas I Commonly Work With
I work with adults across London who are experiencing:
-
Anxiety and panic
-
Depression and low mood
-
Relationship difficulties
-
Workplace stress and burnout
Rather than focusing solely on managing symptoms, psychodynamic psychotherapy seeks to understand the emotional meaning beneath them and create lasting psychological change.
Why Choose Online Therapy?
For many Londoners, travelling across the city for weekly therapy can become another source of stress. Online sessions remove the need to navigate traffic, public transport or lengthy commutes while still providing a consistent therapeutic space.
Many clients find that meeting from a familiar and private environment allows them to settle into therapy more quickly and integrate sessions more naturally into everyday life.
About My Practice
Before establishing my private practice, I spent over two decades working within the NHS in mental health services, including crisis teams, community mental health services and senior clinical leadership roles.
I later completed my psychodynamic psychotherapy training in north London at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, where I also worked as a specialist practitioner.
Today I offer psychotherapy online to adults throughout London and across the United Kingdom, with particular interests in grief, trauma, men's mental health, infant loss and intercultural psychotherapy.
Begin with a Free Conversation
Choosing a therapist is an important decision. I therefore offer a free 20-minute introductory consultation, giving you the opportunity to ask questions, discuss what has brought you to therapy and decide whether working together feels right.
If you decide to continue, I will arrange an initial consultation and we can think together about the most appropriate way forward.
Why do many London clients choose online therapy?
-
Avoid travelling across the city each week.
-
Easier to fit around demanding work schedules.
-
Greater privacy than attending a local clinic.
-
Continue therapy during work travel or relocation.
-
Consistent weekly sessions from home.
